"Could only connect one out of six bulbs. The “Tapo_Bulb_XXXX” network just disappeared after the first bulb setup. I waited too long to try them, so I can’t get a refund. I feel ripped off. Have never had a problem with the Kasa plugs - I should have just stuck with those."

"I got these to put in my living room because our ceiling fan has the only lights in the room. I wanted to be able to turn it on and off with our Echo. I was able to set everything up and get them working just fine without any issues. The application is super helpful and the response time between the app and the bulb is fairly fast. I will more than likely buy more of these. Another highlight is that you can adjust the type of light it emits. If you want a bright white or a warm sunlight feel. This is nice because sometimes i want one vs the other and can easily change them!"

"I currently own other TP Link smart bulbs, so I already have a TP Link account (which was easy to set up). I thought it was a bit weird that I also had to download the Tapo app in addition to the TP Link app, so I'm removing 1 star for that redundancy. But once it's set up, it works perfectly. I can use it in areas like my porch light because the diameter is smaller and my older TP Link bulb won't fit. It's important to follow the instructions precisely. I paired it with Alexa and Google Home and after a couple of fails, I finally got it right. So excellent product that works great. Set up pretty normal but some redundancy due to having to use a Tapo app when I already have the TP Link app that works with my other bulb. 4 star rated."
"On low setting they will be fine strobes. If your like me and you bump the lamp a lot so your settings aren�t right if you tell Alexa to turn on. But overall they pretty cool bulbs."
"Tapo app fails regularly and eventually the bulbs stop connecting to anything, so they blink non-stop for 5 minutes every time you turn on the light switch. Save up and buy an official brand like Phillips"
