"At this point, I'm thoroughly enjoying the lights. The Tapo app has some exciting features, including different thematic light settings, schedules to turn it on, and integration with Google Home. My most significant issue with light strips has always been adhesion, and time will tell, but so far, it's stuck to where I've placed it and shows no signs of coming off soon."
"The RGBW is a must. I first ordered just RGB and the whitest white was purple. These strips give anywhere from warm to bright white. I love the price point especially since these have a water resistant coating so I can use them above my coffee pot and stove (see photos) These are also very bright, I can dim them for the appropriate task. I put them above and below my cabinets. The reflected light from the top, really brightens the whole area"
"I was very impressed with the quality of these lights. I bought three sets: one for under my bed frame, one for my headboard, and one for my book case. They are easy to set up in the app, and they look exactly as they do in the advertisements. They're super bright and come with some really cool settings. The main draw back is that the adhesive did not hold up under my bed frame. If you are planning to hang these on an upside down surface, you'll need to get a separate adhesive. I got some wood glue for mine, which solved the problem. This was definitely a headache, but the lights are still worth the purchase. If your goal is to tape these on top of a surface or vertically, the adhesive works fine."
"Ok, I love these lights, I put them around the bed-frame. But why does it need a separate App? I said the same thing about the bulbs. They are all TP-Link products, I shouldn't need to use the KASA App for 1 set of products and the TAPO App for another set. Get your products merged please! With the above complaint out of the way, these lights are super bright and look really cool. My bedroom is actually pretty dark as it only has 1 ceiling fan light, when I put this strip on regular lighting it makes my room 2x brighter. My only real issue (other then the App) is how difficult it is to bend these. Due to the rubberish coating its really hard to make a 90 degree turn with these. Also I pretty much feel like these are 1 use only. Don't expect to remove then down the road and easily re-stick it somewhere else."
"The appearance of the lights are so bright but can dim them down to your preference and the adhesion hold so great so I would recommend to find a place you want to leave them on."
"The lights work well, are bright, and function nicely with Google Home, but the adhesive is absolutely awful, it will not stick to almost anything. I ended up peeling it off completely and using gorilla glue double sided tape to make it work out. If the adhesive worked, would be a 5 star product, but the hassle made it 3 stars."
"First reason for a 3 star review is the awful white colors produced by this product. The soft white is terrible and looks pinkish. The second, and I'd like to preface this review by stating I went against manufactures instructions and cut the strip. It can be done and reattached however with issues. Main one is flickering on certain colors at certain brightness settings. I tried using all different types of connectors and used thicker wire (20 gauge) but none of this would fix the flickering towards the end of the run. In my installation (kitchen cabinets, upper and below) and didn't want to use to different straps powered independently. I tried to keep the keep the wire used to connect both pieces as short as possible and also used a thicker gauge, as stated above. Nothing I tried solved the flicker. I imagine it's a power issue and with no way to increase power, the best that I could do was to lower the brightness on certain colors to minimize flicker. The manufacturer should realize that some applications warrant cutting and re-attaching the strip and sell their own connectors. Until then I will shop around for another easier strip to customize."

"The strip lighting is perfect for our hutch, which originally (many years ago) came with halogen lights. The colors, patterns, and programmable changes add to the ambience. When I had some trouble linking the strip with the app, tech support was awesome!"
"The 3M is super sticky and the lights are hard to bend if you need to wrap it around. I, like many people are doing the thunderstorm cloud for my kid in his room. I am trying to get the lights to sync to a soundtrack of thunder when it�s played through his speaker but it is proving to be very difficult and it appears that you need to have your phone/tablet open to listen to the audio."
