"Installation was super easy, and setting it up with the app only took a few minutes. I can lock and unlock it right from my phone, and I set it to auto-lock after 30 seconds just in case we forget. The black color looks really nice, and the quality and finish are great. It uses 4 AA batteries, which are easy to change. Very happy with it!"
"So excited this came out. We wanted a keypad lock that was smart but not too smart. All the really expensive ones seem to have some issue or another. The physical buttons are awesome and do not pick up fingerprints like the touchpad ones do. The lock feels really solid and good quality, especially for the price. Install was super easy and the instructions were great. App connected super fast and we have been up and running. I have always loved tp-link WiFi routers and have been really impressed with the smart home products so far. We have one of their smart power strips as well."
"I am really impressed with the Tapo Smart Wi-Fi Deadbolt! Installation was straightforward, and the keyless entry with tactile buttons feels supper secure and convenient. I love being able to monitor and manage access from the app especially the auto-lock feature for peace of mind. It fits my standard door perfectly and has held up well in a rainy weather. "So far this smart lock has been perfect. Installation was very easy and only took about 30 minutes or so, including connecting to WiFi. All of the materials feel durable and well made. The buttons have some of the best feel of any I have used in the past. The locking mechanism is smooth and goes into place every time without failure. The matte black looks sharp and the backlit buttons help to see in the dark. I love that they provided a �doorbell� button so you can be notified if someone needs in. The app works well and it provides a lot of peace of mind knowing you can check that if you forget whether you locked the door. I got the version without the fingerprint recognition but wish I would have gotten that option. The keypad is quick and easy but having a fingerprint option would provide a lot of added convenience. I am very happy with it so far and think it is a great value for a fantastic lock."

"I did not realize this was a tp-link product until it came. I have been using a tp-link Wi-Fi router for years and it is been very reliable so I trust this brand. It looks and feels like a high-quality product. Installation took me about 20 minutes. I downloaded and installed the free app for my smartphone. I was then able to connect my smartphone to the lock to set an access code. That is all there was to it and I was set to go. This lock has a lot of cool features. I can set multiple codes of varying length. I can set a one-time use code if I want someone to just have temporary access to my home. It logs each time a code has been used in the app. It also has the ability to send an instant notification to me whenever the lock has been used. Most of all, I just love how it functions. It has a very slick action to it. It looks neat. I love the back lit buttons when I touch them. It gives a very soft beep each time the lock has been locked. I haven't needed to use physical keys to get into my house ever since it was installed. I'm just thrilled to have it! Check out my included video!"

"This Tapo DL100 smart lock is good overall. The build quality is about the expectation for a $60ish lock. The functionality of having wifi/bluetooth and physical buttons versus touch screen buttons are great. I paired this with the tapo/kasa app and was able to link this to google home as well via the tapo/kasa app. install and software setup took about 15 minutes total. I only needed a basic tool set to do it. Setting up passwords was easy and configuring the device was also easy in the app. Overall works as expected and is easy to use."
"I never understand why does one need so many ways to open your front door, every additional way to open ones lock is an additional risk. My objectives are simple: a reliable way to open my door with a good back plan and can remote lock if I am away for a peace of mind. And this lock checked all the boxes. Tapo is made by TPLink which is the largest consumer electric network company. It was easy to install. Rich black color, easy to configure the lock, easy to add into app. The key pad feels good. The best part is the battery included. Now they understand customer experience, they make sure you can install without interruptions. Included everything, one installation, one configuration, device just simply work. I can not say to its longevity but I have other TPLink device working for more than 3 years. Technology passed it by but the devices are still working."
