TP-Link seems to think ease of mounting is more important than camera security because it has magnetic mount that allows for easy attachment of the camera. However, someone can just pluck the camera off the mount. Aside from that the camera is very capable"

"This camera goes offline at least once a day. Only way to get it back on is to push the power button and that’s really inconvenient. WiFi routes is 15’ away. Usually a big Tapo fan but this thing is really disappointing"

"The solar panel has a USB C cable, the camera has an outdated micro USB connector. Tapo supplied an adapter. Seems like an oversight that should have been caught BEFORE production. The app needs some work, slow to react at times and more granularity over what alerts I want"

"Great clarity, great functions, and the solar panel fully charges the unit. I purchased this camera and placed the optional SD card in it so I don not have to pay a subscription. The alerts work great, and the installation was a piece of cake. I highly recommend this unit."

"The manufacturer website is still showing the C425 kit as coming soon but they are available here right now. I am very impressed with the cameras and solar panels. I have had zero issues with the kits from setting them up to the way they function after mounting them. The kit is actually pretty small and the cameras feel solid in hand. If you have a fast and stable network, you will likely be as impressed as I am. Highly recommended!"
