Laggy. Not the best.

"I got these TP-Link Tapo 2K Security Cameras to use indoors to monitor my 3D printers in my garage. They work very well and have very bright IR blasters to illuminate in the dark. They flood the area with light very well and aren't spotlights like some other brands. The TP-link software is incredibly easy to use and set up and it allows you to even combine multiple cameras into one unified view which is super awesome. The single biggest issue/flaw with these is that they are noticeably laggy. I had another camera I was using to monitor but got these because of the higher resolution and the other camera was true live viewing, whereas these have a noticeable almost 1 second lag. If they can fix that in a future update, these would easily be a 5 star product."

Fat32?

"So this device takes Micro SD cards. However, they must be in FAT32 format. Don't know what that means? Well, it means they have to be formatted in an old Windows file spec. If you put an SD card into your PC, you will not be able to format it in FAT32 if the card is more than 32 GB. So you got to search on the web for these sketchy utilities to allow it. So unless you happen to know all about FAT32, be prepared to be surfing and trying various weird programs and having all this extra crap try to be installed along with the programs. Your SD card will not be plug-and-play."

Turns off if not recording

"Works great but I shouldn't have to record for it to work. Turns off after 5 minutes of watching the live feed. It stays on if you don't watch it. It doesn't detect baby motion as well as it should even on high sensitivity (which is why I got it)."

Worth every penny

"I paid $36 total with express shipping and it arrived in 2 days and blew me away. This camera is worth every penny. Great video resolution. Good night vision. The motion detection is a little sensitive but not bad at all. I bought to use as a dog camera while at work and will be buying 5 more for around the house. Software is so easy to navigate and you can view 4 cameras at once. 10/10 would recommend to anyone."

"God this so I could check on my puppy while out of the house (crate training amiright?) and this camera is so perfect! Easy to set up and I�m sure if you wanted to subscribe or buy an SD card to store video it would be great, personally I just use the live feed for free with the app and it�s been great. Good quality in daylight and in the dark, wider lense than I would have anticipated too!"
