"The Tapo sub-1GHz iot system is great - great utility and great value. I now have several environmental sensors, buttons, water leak detectors and motion sensors through our two storey home and they work great. Beware that things like large metal objects (our external doors) and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi interference can still affect systems like this, so be careful with your placement. However,it is so cheap to just buy another hub to solve any persistent connectivity issues that it's really not a big deal. Also, Wi-Fi, even with a great mesh system, is less reliable than sub-1GHz.My bottom line? This is a great system to invest in. Plus, it complements Tapo's other (Wi-Fi) smart devices."
