"Great value with excellent video quality."
"Great product. We use this in low light night setting. The app features slow highly customizable images and function. Work perfect for our needs."
"The TP-Link tapo outdoor camera has pretty good quality and features that I like from my security camera. I think the color pro night vision is next level good and the clarity of the camera is very good. I like that it works with my Alexa and Google Home as well and the two-way audio and the built-in siren is very nice and the camera is easy to install. That 2K QHD and HDR is crystal clear and it is lightweight but it is durable as well. Nice Camera for my carport and I very happy with it."
"TP-Link has always been a source of well made, serviceable products at a decent price and this camera is more of the same. It's not particularly innovative, but packs a lot of features and performance inside. You can find cameras that perform better, have clearer videos and do all sorts of other things but you're not likely to find one anywhere near this price point. Probably not for a business or large enterprise but a perfect choice for a home security system. Highly recommended, as is just about everything that TP-Link makes."
"Pros Nice video quality Feature rich including a light and voice capabilities Wi-Fi and Wired connections options Can be configured to send video stream to a local NVR, hidden feature not advertised SD card storage so subscription is not required Cons Doesn't support the Matter protocol yet Google Home integration was only useful if you wanted to view the camera on a Nest Hub or Chromecast TV. Cannot be viewed on the phone unless using the Tapo App No integration with the TP-Link Kasa products I already own. Multiple Apps required No PoE support. A local power outlet is required. Not ideal for security since it can be unplugged"

"Wow, this camera is fantastic, other cameras cannot pick up any details after dark but this Tapo camera displays video like its daylight. Likes: 1. Simple to set up and connect to WiFi 2. Video clarity and detail is excellent. 3. Sound is clear 4. Motion detection and AI sensor works great. 5. Ability to live stream to social with built in RTSP protocol. 6. Sharing live stream but only with Tapo app. 7. WiFi connection/signal is strong and consistent with no frequent dropouts (good WiFi chip). Wish list: 1. Better sharing ability outside of Tapo app i.e. using a web browser. 2. RTMP to stream directly to social w/o software encoder. Overall this camera is excellent, pretty sure you will not find a better low light camera with this much detail and clarity anywhere!"
"Overall, Im very happy with this outdoor camera. This is my first TP-Link product, and now, Im considering replacing my other brand cameras at home. The software is straightforward; adding the camera and getting the video feed on my phone was a breeze. Notifications work great. The quality of the daytime image is fantastic. The first picture was taken during the daytime, and the other was from the night. You'll notice the daytime image is very sharp, while the nighttime image is a bit blurry and not as sharp. The camera turns on two bright lights at night, which may be triggered by motion (Im still determining). The night image was taken when those lights were off, so the image clarity may improve when the lights are on."
"Got this to monitor my yard and steer clear from potential theft as added security. I've been using TP-Link for years, and the user interface has been easy to navigate for anyone and everyone. Connecting the camera (wirelessly) took about 2 minutes, and the image quality is impressive! there is the option to go fully wired via ethernet cable for added reliability, but I'll settle with that later. Notifications are on whenever I am out and about. The cats like to trigger the camera, as they may have found a way to "contact" me LOL Compared to other security cameras in this price range, I would say this is better for its value AND the image quality it produces. Doesn't come with a micro SD card, but they're more affordable to get nowadays! I got a Lexar 128GB high-speed card for about 10 dollars, and it works fine."
"TP-Link ColorPro Wi-Fi Outdoor Camera I was happy to see Tpl-Links name here. I have been using their range extenders for years, with good results and reliability. Ive been dealing with a rock squirrel who chewed up my trucks wiring; bill, and down time, were impressive. We set out a trap for him, but netted a raccoon and a skunk. Needing more control, we added this camera. Installing the Android app and setting up the camera is detailed but straightforward; no challenge. Daytime detail is impressive, as is the effective range. Colors are accurate. Pinch and spread zoom works well. Camera works fine anywhere within range of the wifi from my home router and is then accessible (passworded) anywhere with internet service. As night falls when animals are more active and I am interested in that cage, but even standing by the cage I cant see inside I can still clearly see into the cage via the app. The camera needs 110V power, otherwise no infrastructure, no other wiring/connections. Motion detector does work, and identified people correctly, though insects did trigger recordings. A 64 Gb MicroSD card has as lot of room; I havent yet filled it. Two way audio works seemlessly."
